The Australian Financial Complaints Authority will share group life insurance insights next month at an Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance event.

ANZIIF will hold its group life seminar on September 3 at the Sheraton Grand in Hyde Park, Sydney.

The complaints authority’s lead ombudsman for superannuation Heather Gray will give an update on data, trends, themes and insights from the sector.

The seminar will also feature a panel discussion on the successes and challenges of health and wellbeing platforms in the life industry, and an analysis on the use of artificial intelligence in fraud detection.

“The group life seminar is a paramount event for professionals in the life insurance sector, providing them with the opportunity to explore changes and advancements in the sector, discuss ongoing challenges and consider the industry’s future directions,” ANZIIF said.
