The Corporate Super Specialist Alliance has changed its name to Workplace Super Specialists Australia (WSSA).

CEO Douglas Latto says the group’s members focus on providing specialist advice to employers running corporate super funds.

“In the past, we were sometimes mistaken for an association of corporate super funds,” he said. “What we really do is construct communication programs in conjunction with employers and policy committees, to ensure their employees are getting the most out of their super and managing it appropriately.”

Mr Latto says the new name better reflects the role members undertake with employees, including education and advocacy.

“The WSSA also works with regulators, government, funds and members to continue to provide more innovative ways to provide this important service to employees,” he said.
