Prime Super has appointed CommInsure as its group life insurer, effective from May 1.

The super fund’s CEO Lachlan Baird says the partnership will streamline its offering, improve sustainability of premium pricing and ensure members have appropriate levels of cover.

“Prime Super has recently undertaken a significant rebranding process to modernise the look and feel of the fund, [and] emphasise the core value of the fund, where the best interests of members are at the heart of everything we do,” he said.

CommInsure GM Life Product and Distribution Craig Harrison says the insurer is committed to providing a tailored product, claims and service model for Prime Super members. 

“To be appointed as Prime Super’s insurance partner is a significant achievement for CommInsure,” he said.
