CommInsure rehab worker wins TurksLegal scholarship
Jennifer Jackson, a Rehabilitation Consultant at CommInsure, has won this year’s Australasian Life Underwriting and Claims Association (ALUCA) TurksLegal Scholarship for her essay on genetic testing.
First runner-up was Carola Moore from AMP and the second runner-up was AIA’s Amanda Cruikshank.
Ms Jackson wins an overseas conference package worth up to $8000. She is invited to sit on the judging panel for next year’s scholarship and receives membership to the ALUCA and TurksLegal scholarship alumni program, Life Insurance Future Thinking.
Her essay examined the Australian life insurance industry’s approach to genetic testing, compared it with overseas models and made recommendations for change.
Next year’s scholarship program will open in July.
