CommInsure has come up trumps at the Life Company, Products and Service Awards in Sydney.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia subsidiary won the platinum award for the 2007 Life Insurance Company of the Year at the risk provider awards, sponsored by Plan For Life and the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA).

CommInsure was also named Annuity Provider of the Year, won the awards for best trauma and critical illness product and income protection insurance, and tied with Zurich for product and service quality awards.

Zurich won the term life and total and permanent disability product award.
