ClearView Wealth has ended a co-operation agreement with Sony Life, 16 months after it was established.

The deal, unveiled in January last year, involves sharing information to drive efficiency and growth across both organisations.

But in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, ClearView confirms it has issued a termination notice.

“Following careful consideration, the ClearView board has come to the decision that it is in the best interests of ClearView to no longer continue with the co-operation agreement and to exercise its right to terminate on three months’ notice to Sony Life,” the statement says.

The agreement will end on July 26.
