ClearView has appointed Judilyn Beaumont to the dual role of General Counsel and Company Secretary.

She was formerly Suncorp’s executive GM legal – insurance and also associate general counsel – life. She was also a senior associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, and has held positions at Blake Dawson Waldron, as well as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Ms Beaumont will replace Athol Chiert as company secretary, who resigned to focus on his role as CFO.

ClearView has also appointed Orla Cowan as CRO, after the board restructured the role of chief actuary and risk officer. The role was previously held by Greg Martin, who is now GM, Strategy.

Ms Cowan was previously head of CIO governance at ANZ Global Wealth, and was also head of compliance at investment manager BlackRock.
