Centric Wealth looks to spread out
Centric Wealth is working to expand its three core offerings beyond Sydney to other state capitals and regional areas of NSW and Queensland.
CEO Phil Kearns wants all the company’s offices to provide financial planning, lending and insurance.
He says managing a client’s financial planning inevitably leads to the question of how their lending is structured and how risks are managed.
“The three lines of business work well together,” Mr Kearns told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
The Sydney-based company has offices in Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra that it wants to expand. Mr Kearns is also looking at Perth, the NSW Hunter Valley and Far North Queensland.
He says there is often substantial economic growth in regional areas, along with people who need financial advice because their wealth holdings have become more complex.
Centric is not aligned with a major financial provider, which Mr Kearns says is an attraction for planners who see independence as an ethical issue and who want to select from a wide range of products.
