Calling it quits: another senior staffer leaves the FPA
The changes just keep coming for the peak body supporting Australian planners, the Financial Planning Association (FPA). This time GM Member Services Rohan Burgess has left the association, prompting CEO Kerrie Kelly to undertake yet another reshuffle.
Mr Burgess’ departure will mean the group’s member services division will be managed along side corporate services, which lost its head, Steve Reynolds, earlier this year. The division will be temporarily lead by John Tsalkos.
FPA spokesman Susan Grice told Sunrise Exchange News that Ms Kelly took the opportunity to reduce the number of GM positions. “No change is being made to the functions or staffing of the former corporate services and member services units.”
The member services division is one of Ms Kelly’s recently established four “key operations” divisions created in an organisational re-vamp last year. That move saw staff numbers cut from 73 to 48.
