BT mobile advice app proves popular
Financial advisers are increasingly servicing clients away from the office, with BT Financial Group reporting use of its BT Panorama app has nearly doubled.
The app allows advisers to view a summary of total funds under administration, active accounts, net flows and fees, plus client account details such as total portfolio balances and transaction histories for cash accounts.
It has been downloaded more than 8000 times since inception two years ago, and in May alone there were 875 downloads.
GM Platforms and Investments John Shuttleworth says demand for mobile functionality is reflective of the digitally driven times.
“The key to give advisers the best possible mobile experience is to have a user-friendly interface, real-time data and easy access,” he said.
Mr Shuttleworth says the app now features an external assets view, fee details and tailored investment research and market data.
