BT and AIA dominate FSC awards
AIA and BT were big winners at the Financial Services Council’s (FSC) Life Insurance Awards.
Kathleen Williams, Head of Retail Risk, Optimisation and Compliance at AIA, won the young achiever award, while AIA’s Vitality program won the consumer innovation category, with AMP’s MyLife runner-up.
BT won the industry research award for its Measuring Health Outcomes submission, and CommInsure was highly commended for its Back to Wellness Program entry.
Scott Moffitt, National Life Insurance Product Manager at BT, was awarded the industry leader prize.
Top industry mentor was Russell Hannah, GM Sales, Retail Advice at MLC.
FSC CEO Sally Loane says the awards highlight “the considerable number of talented and dedicated people in the industry who are facing challenges head on. The life insurance industry is pressing ahead with vital and far-reaching consumer reforms amid a period of heightened public scrutiny. Much has been achieved in the past 12 months.”
