The Federal Treasury department set up to promote Australia as a centre for global financial services has also had its budget boosted. Over the next three years, AXISS Australia will get $11.4 million from the Government to further its work promoting Australia’s advantages “through marketing and facilitation”.

AXISS also provides the Government with policy advice on the issues that enhance its attractiveness to global capital.
