The board at Axa Asia Pacific has agreed to extend the contract of CEO Les Owen by two years. The decision came as Mr Owen’s first three-year term expired.

Mr Owen has earned praise for his achievements at the funds management group thus far, including improved customer services, doubling the amount of new business generated and the sale of the group’s health insurance arm for $595 million.
