Authority green-lights Kaplan diploma
Kaplan Professional’s graduate diploma of financial planning and other bridging courses have been approved by the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA).
To meet FASEA education requirements, advisers can complete Kaplan’s course in ethics and professionalism in financial advice. The graduate diploma started in 2014. Enrolments for the updated course will begin towards the end of this month.
Kaplan will work with its already enrolled advisers to ensure they are in studies best suited to their circumstances and what they require to meet FASEA’s requirements.
CEO Brian Knight says Kaplan is committing significant resources to improving student support and keeping down course fees.
“We have been proactively working with licensees for a significant amount of time, mapping out each of their advisers’ personalised education pathways based on previous education completed and professional designations achieved,” he says.
