Third-party insurance administrator Australian Group Insurances (AGI) says Benno Lyakurwa has taken up the newly created CEO role.

He has a background in group insurance product and pricing having worked previously for several life insurance companies in Australia and has deep experience in the corporate insurance segment.

“This appointment marks an exciting new chapter for AGI as we continue to expand our third-party administration offering to insurers and brokers,” Chairman John Felsch said.

AGI, based in Sydney, is a provider of back-office administration services to life companies and superannuation funds.
