AUB-owned Austbrokers is aiming to grow its life business after securing a partnership with Australian Unity Personal Financial Services.

Austbrokers Life will deliver financial advice under Australian Unity’s Australian financial services licence as part of the partnership.

“Financial guidance is a core component of what we do, enabling our expert team to advise Australians through life,” Austbrokers Life MD Ben Donald said.

“Receiving this support from Australian Unity is a strong validation for the quality of advice we provide.”

Austbrokers Life has close to 9000 clients and helped its clients to secure more than $37 million in benefit payments in the last financial year.

The AUB specialist life division offers a wide range of life advice including for income protection, trauma, total and permanent disability, employee benefits and group insurance.

Australian Unity Personal Financial Services says it will provide support to Austbrokers Life that will strengthen the quality of advice provided as part of the partnership.
