Fidelity Life has appointed Nadine Tereora as CEO, replacing Milton Jennings, who stepped down earlier this year.

Mr Jennings was in the role for 14 years, and worked with Fidelity for 29 years.

Ms Tereora was CEO of Asteron Life in New Zealand from March 2014, before which she was EM claims and underwriting at Suncorp Life in New Zealand.

Fidelity Life Chairman Ian Braddock says Ms Tereora is a highly respected figure in the financial services sector.

“She brings to the role extensive experience, proven business acumen and a focus on driving transformation and growth through sound strategy,” he said. “She is a visionary business leader and her appointment signals the start of an exciting new chapter for the company.”

Ms Tereora has also served as COO at AIA New Zealand and held several senior roles at Sovereign.
