Former AMP Life non-executive director Geoff Roberts will join the financial services company’s main board in July.

Mr Roberts is also a former non-executive director of the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia and is currently Group CFO of recruitment group Seek.

AMP director John Palmer will leave the main board at the annual general meeting in May. He was also an AMP Life director for 10 years until June 2014.

Also standing down is Brian Clark, who has been a director since 2008.
