AIA will host forums across Australia to help advisers adjust to the Life Insurance Framework.

The sessions aim to explain what short and medium-term impacts the reform will have on their businesses.

The life insurer also wants feedback on desired features in future products and service delivery.

Chief Retail Insurance Officer Pina Sciarrone says it is important insurers and advisers work together on the reforms.

“We understand that with the latest reforms, advisers are currently facing a difficult change to the way they do business,” she said.

“That’s why we are fully committed to helping advisers transition to ensure both the sustainability of their businesses and the ability of consumers to access quality advice and affordable life cover.”

After the forums AIA will introduce several new support services for advisers.
