AIA upgrades electronic claims

AIA Australia is upgrading its eClaims service to improve the way employers help their workers make life claims.

The changes will enable employees to use occupational rehabilitation and intervention earlier in the claims process.

Since the system was introduced last December AIA has worked on enhancements, including a central repository for employer company information.

This will enable a superannuation fund member making a claim to select their employer and find fields pre-populated with company-specific information. Claims information is automatically sent to a central contact at the employer, rather than the member having to find out which person handles claims.

Another upgrade allows for a single password and user ID for each employer company through an interactive log-in page.
