Former Aviva Australia CEO Allan Griffiths has joined the AIA Australian board as a director.

Mr Griffiths was at Aviva for almost nine years before leaving in December last year when the NAB takeover of the Australian business was completed.

He was also a director of Aviva’s Malaysian and Taiwan businesses.

Prior to joining Aviva, Mr Griffiths has held senior management positions in distribution at both Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Colonial.
