AIA NZ calls time on adviser trips
AIA New Zealand will stop overseas “recognition trips” for financial advisers after next year.
CEO Nick Stanhope says the aim is to “ensure relationships and responsibilities with advisers remain closely aligned to supporting best practice and promoting good outcomes for customers”.
He says the reaction from advisers and staff has been encouraging.
The insurer is contractually obliged to complete one final overseas recognition trip. After that travel will be limited to education and training programs that support AIA’s partners.
