AIA hub to guide advisers through transition
AIA Australia is offering advisers online and face-to-face support to grow their practices.
It says its Business Growth Hub will give advisers the tools to make strategic decisions in areas such as products including AIA Vitality, fee-for-advice and technical support.
It will also provide access to industry experts.
Chief Retail Insurance Officer Pina Sciarrone says the hub is a key component of the insurer’s bid to help advisers adjust to the Life Insurance Framework.
“Advisers have many aspects of their business to focus on,” she said. “Some may be working through their transition to the framework, others will be focusing on how to further acquire, develop and retain their clients, and others will be seeking ways of making advice implementation easier.”
AIA has also produced a phone app that lets advisers view clients’ policies or applications.
Ms Sciarrone says the app will produce efficiencies for advisers and their businesses, allowing them access to client details at any time.
“We recognise that people want access to information in a number of different ways.
“The new app will ensure advisers and their staff are able to be fully mobile, speeding up the administrative process to reduce business costs.”
