Charlotte Ward has been appointed Chief People and Culture Officer for AIA Australia and New Zealand, based in Melbourne.

She replaces chief human resources officer Eleanor Ottaviano, who has been appointed Head of Transformation and Legacy.

Ms Ward has spent the past eight years leading resources giant BP’s “global capability” development and was a director of its global leadership academy, based in London.

Before that she was group resourcing and development manager at Prudential.
