AIA claims receive high rating
Life insurance market leader AIA Australia has been awarded an A* rating by The Risk Store for its claims-processing service.
It is the second year the company has been awarded an A rating for its claims services by an analyst.
AIA was subjected to The Risk Store’s claim management analysis program, which takes a comprehensive look at life insurers’ systems and standards.
Sue Laing from The Risk Store says the analysis noted AIA assesses claims on merit rather than using a standard model to deal with all cases.
“It isn’t good enough to have systems and standards if they are not client-friendly in their execution, delivery and outcomes, and also if those standards are not strictly met, time and time again,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
“This is what we look for at the core of our analysis.”
