AIA Australia CEO Peter Crewe has joined the Financial Services Council (FSC) board. 

He says becoming a director will allow him to ensure life insurance gains greater prominence and underinsurance is addressed. 

“We are trying to address this as a business, and I look forward to working with [FSC Chairman] Greg Cooper and my fellow directors to ensure the standards that are agreed by the FSC for the provision of life insurance benefit all Australians.” 

Mr Crewe has 26 years’ experience across the life insurance, funds management and superannuation industries in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
