AIA and OnePath have won Canstar’s outstanding value life insurance awards for the second year running.

Canstar compared more than 600,000 quotes across four life stages, 20 occupations, two premium types and both genders to name two best-value champions in each of five categories.

AIA and Zurich won the term life section and AIA and OnePath topped the packaged life and income protection insurance categories.

AMP Life and OnePath took the trauma category, while ClearView and Zurich won for total and permanent disability cover.

Canstar says competition in the industry is intense, with product features and pricing being constantly improved.
