AFA’s national roadshow gets ready to roll
The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) will kick off its 2020 National Roadshow this month, starting at Wrest Point Hobart on February 19 and ending in Brisbane eight days later.
The roadshow, which is supported by Challenger, will also travel to Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
The program includes key policy, education and professional updates, including the latest on the FASEA Code of Ethics which will be presented by AFA CEO Philip Kewin and AFA head of Policy and Professionalism Phil Anderson.
"The AFA continues to actively engage with key stakeholders, including government, ASIC, FASEA and other professional associations on the issues that profoundly affect our members, and we will be sharing some of the outcomes of this process and insights into our forward strategy," Mr Kewin said.
Challenger's Head of Technical Services Andrew Lowe will bring delegates up to speed on the latest pre and post retirement advice strategies.
