AFA unveils on-demand program, masterclasses for annual conference
The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has announced an On-Demand program and Masterclasses for this week’s annual conference.
AFA says the On-Demand program includes sessions on consumer trends, ways to run a best practice business, ethical investing and other subjects of relevance to the profession.
“The aim is to help delegates discover new opportunities to lead the way in trusted advice, to transform and take advantage of opportunities through disruption, and to lift themselves and their businesses to the next level,” AFA CEO Philip Kewin said.
The Masterclasses, which are optional, are organised by AFA’s Genxt, Inspire and Pulse communities of practice.
One of the three sessions will focus on best practice management, offering a blueprint for advisers and licensees to meet compliance and professional development obligations.
The AFA annual conference runs on Wednesday and Thursday. It will be held virtually and streamed live from Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
Assistant Superannuation, Financial Services and Financial Technology Minister Jane Hume will open the conference with a keynote speech.
