AFA roadshow hits eastern states
The Association of Financial Advisers’ (AFA) GenXt roadshow arrives on the eastern seaboard this week, taking in Melbourne tomorrow, Sydney on Wednesday and Brisbane on Thursday.
National GenXt Chairman Matthew Hawkins says speakers will help advisers develop their careers.
Mr Hawkins will outline the program’s 10-year vision and encourage delegates to get involved in the scheme at a local level.
Association COO Phil Anderson will give an update on regulatory issues, with education and remuneration for life insurance singled out as main topics.
AFA rising star award-winner Ben Budge will talk about putting theory into practice, showing how personalised, non-traditional, values-based approaches create partnerships with clients. Excellence in education winner Peter O’Callaghan will talk about his study tour to Cambridge University.
