Six advisers have been nominated as finalists for the Australian Financial Advisers (AFA) Rising Star of the Year award.
They re Nikkii Park from Risk Queensland; Andrew Shakespeare at JSA Financial Planning Group; Michael Batten from Batten Financial Services; Mark Rattigan from Merideon Wealth Strategies; Paul Trosti from Godfrey Pembroke; and Christopher Jones from Retireinvest.
The award, sponsored by ING Australia, recognises up-and-coming advisers who provide quality, holistic advice, demonstrate a commitment to education and make a valuable contribution to the industry and their community.
AFA CEO Richard Klipin says choosing the six finalists was an exceptionally difficult task.
“These individuals have a pedigree education; they are innovative, they are passionate, they are committed to and involved in their communities and to their industry,” he said.
“Everything that is good about the advice industry resonates through these outstanding candidates.”
The winner will be announced at the AFA national conference on Sunday.
