AFA opens search for best new advisers
Nominations have opened for this year’s Association of Financial Advisers rising star award.
CEO Brad Fox says the award recognises and encourages emerging talent in the profession.
“As we’re seeing the pace of innovation in financial services rise, it is exciting to see new entrants embracing innovative ways of delivering advice,” he said.
Applicants must show how they bring innovation to the provision of advice, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
They must have been providing personal financial advice for less than three years, and be based in a practice, either as an employee or a principal.
The award is again sponsored by ANZ Wealth.
“Nurturing new talent is the key to sustaining growth in the advice industry,” MD Alexis George said.
“It’s in everyone’s interest to ensure the future of the advice industry is in good hands.”
Nominations close on July 22, with the winner announced in Canberra at the national convention. Enter here.
