Nominations are open for the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) awards program, including the categories adviser of the year, practice of the year, rising star, female excellence in advice and excellence in education.

The awards recognise outstanding advisers and practices, and people pursuing further education.

“We are looking for people within our profession who will be the foundation block of the stronger, more rigorous profession we are all committed to building,” association CEO Philip Kewin said.

Winners will be announced on August 29 at the AFA Conference in Adelaide.
