The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) will hold a Meet the Mentors session at its National Adviser Conference on the Gold Coast this week.

Conference chairman Michael Nowak says less experienced advisers can attend a private coaching session with a seasoned AFA adviser.

“AFA mentors have so much to offer in terms of practical advice and they have welcomed this opportunity to give back to their profession,” he said.

Mentors include long-standing association members Russell Collins, Godfrey Phillips, Paul Kearney and Peter Graham.

Meet the Mentors will run alongside the Meet the Innovators and Meet the Professionals roundtables on Thursday.

The conference, at the Royal Pines Resort, runs from Wednesday to Friday.
