AFA conference set for TV treatment
The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) says keynote and panel sessions from its October conference will be hosted on a main stage in a television-style production broadcast live from Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art.
AFA CEO Philip Kewin says the two-day conference is the major event on the group’s calendar and it will be delivered this year in uniquely difficult circumstances.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer an innovative approach to virtual conferencing which we believe brings the delegate experience to life,” he said.
Speakers include Assistant Financial Services Minister Jane Hume, and top executives from TAL, MLC Life, Zurich Australia and AIA Australia and New Zealand will participate in an insurers panel.
The live component will be hosted by professional MC Nigel Collin. The sessions will be complemented by more than 25 on-demand industry presentations, with all content available for four months.
The AFA Vision Conference will be held on October 14-15. More details are available here.
