MetLife and the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) are launching a grant program for female financial advisers to advance their careers.

The program will offer up to 15 professional development packages, including attendance at the AFA’s educational classes and events and registration at its annual conference, with financial support from MetLife.

MetLife is a member of the United Nations’ Global Innovation Coalition for Change, which promotes inclusion and diversity.

Applicants must be female, have five years’ experience as a financial adviser, be an AFA member and not have attended previous AFA conferences. Applications close on July 12.
