The Association of Advisers (AFA) and Financial Planning Association (FPA) will hold a combined roadshow across 10 locations in May and early June.

AFA and FPA say the roadshow will proceed irrespective of the outcome of the February 28 extraordinary general meeting, when members will cast their votes on a proposal to merge the two peak bodies.

The roadshow will feature updates from AFA CEO Phil Anderson and FPA CEP Sarah Abood, the latest on policy and advocacy efforts as well as a networking lunch event.

The roadshow will kick off in Hobart on May 5 and move on to Newcastle (May 11), Sydney (May 15), Brisbane (May 16), Melbourne (May 18), Bendigo (May 19), Adelaide (May 23), Perth (May 25), Canberra (May 31) and conclude in Townsville on June 2.
