Financial Advice Association Australia will hold roadshow events next month and in May to engage with members.

The peak body says the events will focus on building efficiencies for business improvement, showcasing best practice, and ethical growth.

“The sessions have been designed to provide advisers with valuable information that will help them work more effectively and efficiently,” association GM Membership Tania Milnes said. “This includes managing compliance requirements and using technology to streamline the advice process.”

CEO Sarah Abood will provide an update on member initiatives at the association. And attendees can expect an update from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission on some of the key legislative areas for the financial planning profession.

• Albury Wodonga – Tuesday April 30
• Sydney – Friday May 3
• Canberra – Monday May 6
• Melbourne – Wednesday May 8
• Hobart – Thursday May 9
• Mackay – Monday May 13
• Orange – Friday May 17
• Brisbane – Tuesday May 21
• Adelaide – Thursday May 23
• Perth – Friday May 24
