Zurich has appointed Dirk De Nil as its new Global Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions.  

Mr De Nil, who currently serves as Zurich Benelux and Nordic CEO, will take over the role from Hanno Mijer, who will retire at the end of the month. 

Mr De Nil has more than 30 years of industry experience, having joined Zurich in 2008 following over a decade at AIG. He has held several senior roles at Zurich, including Global Head of Operations for General Insurance, Asia Pacific COO, and CEO of its Morocco branch.  

Zurich Resilience Solutions offers risk advisory insights to corporate clients in support of mitigation strategies, with a team of 850 employees worldwide.  

Mr De Nil will report to Zurich Commercial Insurance CEO Sierra Signorelli.

Zurich says a search is underway for a new Benelux and Nordic CEO.
