Zurich Financial Services has reportedly narrowed its search for a new global CEO to four internal candidates.
According to Bloomberg, a successor to Mr Schiro could be announced in the next month. The insurer is considering CFO Dieter Wemmer, Chief Investment Officer Martin Senn, CRO Axel Lehman and Mario Greco, CEO of the global life business, as possible successors to James Schiro.
US-born Mr Schiro will retire at the end of the year, having turned the group around since he took the helm in 2002.
