The No 3 global broker, Willis, has returned another big result for the first six months of this year, with a 200% profit rise. Chairman and CEO Joe Plumeri said in New York that the $296 million six-month profit will be used mainly for dividends, although Willis remains committed to pursuing acquisitions.
