Willis opens landmark London headquarters
Prince Andrew has officially opened the landmark London HQ of the Willis Group at 51 Lime Street, opposite Lloyd’s.
At 28 storeys, the award-winning Willis building is the fourth-tallest skyscraper in the City of London. Some 1500 people crowded between Lloyd’s and the new hi-tech Willis Building last week for the official opening ceremony.
Prince Andrew said the insurance industry is an important part of the UK financial services sector. “Broking and underwriting go hand in hand, and the synergies between Willis and Lloyd’s are very clear,” he said.
