Willis full-year profit dips

Willis Group Holdings has reported net income of $US362 million ($467 million) for last year, down slightly from $US365 million ($471 million) in 2013.

The global risk adviser and broker made $US3.77 billion ($4.86 billion) in commissions and fees revenue, up almost 4%.

Investment income increased to $US16 million ($20.64 million) from $US15 million ($19.35 million).

CEO Dominic Casserley says the year finished with strong top-line growth, despite challenging markets. “We continued to reshape Willis to improve earnings, both organically and through acquisition.”
