Willis claims Chicago’s Sears Tower
Global broker Willis has bought the naming rights to the tallest building in the western hemisphere.
The 110-story Sears Tower will become Willis Tower, with the move being announced last week by Willis Chairman and CEO Joe Plumeri and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley.
The glass and steel building, which opened in 1973, will be the new headquarters for Willis’ midwest US operations.
