The UK Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) says it has marked a milestone with Signature Underwriting becoming its 200th member. 

MGAA, formed in 2011, represents members with underwriting capacity totalling more than £6.1 billion ($11.6 billion). It also has 56 market practitioner members and 122 supplier members. 

“We’re delighted to have reached such an important growth milestone for the association,” CEO Mike Keating said. 

“Not only is this testament to our continued commitment to representing the interests of the MGA sector, it is also reflective of just how important MGAs have become in the wider insurance market.” 

The MGAA is an affiliate of Australia’s Underwriting Agencies Council.
