John Coletti is joining Swiss Re next month as Head of Global Cyber as the insurer creates a central cyber underwriting team with global responsibility for product development.

New York-based Mr Coletti has most recently been Axa’s Chief Underwriting Officer for cyber and will be responsible for Swiss Re’s global cyber business, which includes portfolio ownership, global underwriting activities as well as cyber product development.

He will help Swiss Re to address the complex nature of cyber risk, including ransomware and risk aggregation, reporting to Gregory Schiffer, Head of Global Specialty.

Current Head of Cyber Solutions Maya Bundt takes on a newly created role at the Swiss Re Institute’s Cyber Centre of Competence.
