RSA unveils new business segment
British-based general insurer RSA has unveiled three new business units to operate under its commercial division in response to feedback from brokers.
New CEO Adrian Brown has also appointed new people to head the commercial business unit, which was created following brokers’ suggestions on how to improve the business.
The one-time major Australian player – it sold the business which became Promina in 2003 to raise desperately needed capital – changed its name from Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Group to RSA in April.
RSA says it will organise its commercial business around three business segments – global, UK and small medium enterprises.
