RIMS to hold hybrid conference

RIMS says some of the events at its next annual Riskworld conference in April are to be made available virtually for the first time.

The hybrid 2022 conference – the first since 2019 – is scheduled for April 10-13 in San Francisco. Virtual attendee registration is available from February.

RIMS says the hybrid format creates “greater inclusivity for all who are interested in joining this career-boosting experience” and the conference has been reimagined to keep pace.

“RIMS Riskworld will break boundaries, reach far beyond traditional risk management conversations,” said RIMS CEO Mary Roth. “New risks have emerged, known risks have evolved and businesses priorities and strategies are shifting faster than ever before.”

Launched in 1963, Riskworld attracts 10,000 risk and insurance professionals. The four-day event offers more than 160 educational sessions, keynote presentations, special events and an expansive Marketplace Exhibit Hall with nearly 400 exhibitors.

Topics include career development, claims management, cyber and technology risk insurance, legal, regulation, risk mitigation, loss control, strategic and enterprise risk management and trending issues.
