The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) will hold its first insurtech competition.

A “Shark Tank-style” format will let participants present their technologies to a judging panel comprising risk professionals.

“Technology is transforming and strengthening risk management practices around the world,” RIMS President Gloria Brosius said.

“RIMS is proud to welcome and learn from this elite group of insurtech companies.”

The contest will take place at the RIMS conference, from April 28 to May 1 in Boston.
