Resolution Life recruits ‘exceptional’ Swiss Re exec

Former Swiss Re executive Moses Ojeisekhoba has been named Resolution Life president, effective next month.

Resolution Life says Mr Ojeisekhoba is expected to take the CEO role during 2026, succeeding Clive Cowdery, who will remain executive chairman.

“Moses is an exceptional and highly regarded executive,” said Mr Cowdery, who is also the company’s founder. “I have long admired his proven leadership and operational experience, and I am confident he will be invaluable to Resolution Life as we embark on our next phase of growth.”

Swiss Re said in May that Mr Ojeisekhoba, most recently CEO for global clients and solutions, would leave the group on August 31 and businesses in his unit would be reassigned to other areas.

Mr Ojeisekhoba held senior executive roles at Swiss Re over more than 12 years, including CEO of reinsurance. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance sector.

Before joining Swiss Re he held senior leadership positions at Chubb Group and Unico American Corporation.
